In Japan, the 2022 Subaru Forester Facelift debuted with a redesigned face and new technology.

Subaru has unveiled the facelifted Forester for the Japanese market, which has new style, technology, and under-the-hood enhancements.
A revised front look, including new headlights and a reworked bumper with a new grille, distinguishes the facelifted Subaru Forester right away. New alloy wheels have been added to the exterior, and the round front LED fog lights have been replaced with vertical units on Sport variants.

The 2022 Subaru Forester receives a redesign that includes revised suspension settings across the board for increased ride quality and comfort.

The Touring, X-Break, Advance, and Sport trim levels are available on the new JDM Subaru Forester, which also comes in three new colour options (Cascade Green Silica, Autumn Green Metallic, and Brilliant Bronze Metallic).

Subaru has added new trim options, including dual-tone Nappa leather upholstery, to the inside, which appears to be nearly identical. Subaru's Eyesight Safety feature has also been enhanced with a new wider-angle front camera and new software that allows it to operate in a wider range of scenarios.

The e-Active Shift Control is now standard on the JDM version of the 2022 Subaru Forester, which is powered by the carmaker's 150 HP 2.0-liter e-Boxer hybrid powertrain. If you want a little more power, Subaru will offer the 2022 Forester Sport, which features a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 174 horsepower and 221 pound-feet (300 Nm) of torque. Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system transmitted power to all four wheels on all models.
