Toyota UK has introduced a revolutionary 10-year warranty that covers both new and used vehicles.
Toyota Relax is a warranty programme that adds 12 months and 10,000 miles to a vehicle's warranty when it is serviced at a Toyota dealership. This warranty is automatically applied and comes at no additional cost to the consumer.
This means that if you buy a new Toyota car in the UK and have it serviced regularly at a Toyota facility, it will be covered under warranty for ten years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km). Perhaps even more surprising is the fact that this warranty scheme covers used Toyotas as well.
If you buy a used Toyota privately or through a dealership, regardless of whether you're the second, third, or fourth owner, and you take it to a Toyota repair centre before it's 10 years old, you'll get a 12-month/10,000-mile guarantee until it's 10 years old. It makes no difference if the secondhand vehicle has never been serviced at a Toyota dealership.
All Toyota passenger cars, pickup trucks, and light commercial vehicles, regardless of whether they have petrol or diesel engines, hybrid powertrains, or are electric vehicles, are eligible for Toyota Relax. The Mirai, which runs on hydrogen, is also covered.

Relax connects us with more owners, builds loyalty, and allows our network partners to optimise value chain potential in both sales and after sales operations, so there are compelling financial benefits as well.
The Toyota Relax warranty covers the same parts and labour as a new Toyota vehicle's standard three-year manufacturer's warranty and the one-year manufacturer's warranty that comes standard with authorised used models.
