Only 303 Porsche 996 GT2s were built for the United States, and this one has 5.5k miles.

A 2003 Porsche 911 GT2 is looking for a new owner and checks almost all of the boxes for a sports car.

Few 911 versions are as desirable as the GT2, and as a 996-generation model, this car is one of only 303 built for the American market between 2002 and 2005. It comes with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, window sticker, service records, factory literature, two keys, and a clean Carfax report, and is painted in Arctic Silver Metallic. It's also worth noting that it's only been driven 5,500 miles.

Staggered-width 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres measuring 235/40 in the front and 315/30 in the back complement the silver paint. Carbon ceramic brakes and yellow callipers were standard on all 996 GT2 versions. The front strut mounts and coil springs were updated in 2019, according to the Bring A Trailer description.

The GT2's interior features black leather sports seats with embossed Porsche crests on the headrests. Despite the car's tough nature, it includes amenities like as automatic climate control, a CD player, and cruise control.

A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine produces 456 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and 457 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm. A six-speed manual transmission is mated to this engine, and the listing notes that the oil pump seals and serpentine belt were updated in 2019.

If you're looking for a Porsche 911 that you can drive every day and on lengthy road trips, this is probably not the best option. However, if you're looking for a 911 that's ideal for canyon carving or the occasional track day, the GT2 could be a great choice.
