The Tesla Model 3 and Y have both seen price increases.

Tesla has raised prices for non-performance Model 3 and Model Y variants yet again.
In recent months, Tesla has gradually increased the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y, with the Model 3 Standard Range now costing $39,990, up from $39,490 previously. Similarly, the Model 3 Long Range AWD now costs $500 more than before, with a starting price of $48,990.

The Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD, on the other hand, is nearly $500 more expensive, starting at $51,990. The cheapest Model 3 you can now purchase costs $41,190, including the $1,200 destination fee.

In recent weeks, prices for the Model 3 and Model Y have been steadily rising. The Model 3 Standard Range Plus was available for $36,990 in mid-February. Tesla, on the other hand, quickly raised the price to $37,490. Prices climbed to $37,990 two weeks later, and then rose again by $500 to $38,490 two weeks again. Prices increased by $500 four weeks ago, bringing the EV to $38,990. The non-performance models of the Model 3 and Model Y received yet another $500 price increase earlier this month.

Given the steady price rises, it seems that Tesla is following a policy of gradually increasing costs rather than a few thousand dollars at a time. Some suspect that Tesla is increasing rates in anticipation of the reintroduction of the federal EV tax credit.
