Advantages 👍
  • It's enjoyable to drive.
The Subaru Impreza sedan in this cult version is primarily intended for boy racers. It's been modified to provide more strength and better road keeping than the standard Impreza. It also functions. It's lightning fast, clings to the road with incredible tenacity, and is a blast to drive. The VW GTI or, on the higher end, the Golf R are likely to be its nearest competitors. The WRX is part of a long line of cars that masquerade as sheep. Sports cars with stealthy underpinnings built on realistic vehicle underpinnings.

  • Basically, it is useful.
Also with all the vroom vroom, it's always a really practical Impreza. It has four doors, all-wheel drive, the EyeDrive safety package (only available with automatic transmission), and enough space for a small family, also in the back seat. If you have to give up your beloved Miata because you married and now have to pick up your mother-in-law on Sundays, the WRX is a solution you may be able to persuade your wife to consider.

  • The price is fair.
The WRX is a good value for the amount of practical strength and road-holding grip it provides. Our WRX Premium test car came with a kit called “Series. White.” Try to figure out what color it was. That's right! This kit includes performance upgrades such as Brembo brakes and Bilstein dampers. There's even a slew of beauty add-ons. Despite the $4,200 choice kit, our WRX left the showroom with a well-equipped price tag of just over $35,000.
Disadvantages 👎
  • Raw.
One of the most noticeable changes in automobiles over the last 10 or 15 years is how refined they have become. And at the very bottom of the industry. The WRX, on the other hand, never got the message. Its aim is to provide you with ridiculously fast acceleration and slot-car road grip. Do you want to be at ease? Get yourself a CrossTrek. Do you want to unwind while driving on the interstate? Get yourself an Outback. Do you want to be alone? Stay at home, shut the curtains, and put on your noise-cancelling Bose headphones. Despite its excellent results, the WRX is buzzy and twitchy. It's entertaining at first. However, after a while, it becomes tiresome. You must be dedicated to it.

  • Clutch.
Since we fixed our customer's old Saab 900s, I haven't seen a clutch this finicky. Those were a little thorny. “Does this rubber pedal make me look fat?” it asked whenever you applied the clutch in a Saab. One of the aspects that makes driving the WRX a little tiring after a while is the extremely responsive clutch. This would seem to be particularly true if you drive a lot of stop-and-go traffic.

  • Safety .
Good news: Subaru's EyeSight protection suite is excellent and comprehensive. The bad news is that it's not only not normal on the WRX, but it's also not widely accessible. Given that this car appeals to those who want to drive a stick shift, the fact that the safety suite is only available on WRXs with automatic transmissions is a bit of a letdown. So, if you insist on driving a stick, look elsewhere. We can't suggest buying a new car in 2020 if it doesn't come with the complete suite of electronic safety features that are proven to save lives and fenders:Automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, and rear cross traffic warning are all available. You will get Subaru's EyeSight suite if you stay away from the base model WRX and order your car with an automatic transmission. They've simply reduced your options, which is unfortunate considering the WRX's personality.
