Toyota Slays A New Crossover For The United States, Which Will Launch Next Week

Toyota continues to tease new vehicles with the release of a short film showing a forthcoming crossover.

The business is keeping quiet about the crossover, but the teaser shows powerful fenders and a rakish windscreen that flows into a sloping roof. A prominent beltline and what looks to be a rear spoiler are also visible.

“Even the most legendary works of art are developed from a basic sketch,” Toyota stated, cryptically. “Get ready for a different twist on a familiar face,” they teased.

Last summer, Toyota unveiled the Corolla Cross, a tiny crossover that measures 175.5 inches (4,460 mm) long, 71.9 inches (1,825 mm) wide, and 63.8 inches (1,620 mm) tall, with a wheelbase of 103.9 inches (2,640 mm). It's significantly bigger than the C-HR, but not quite as big as the RAV4.

While the Corolla Cross is a strong contender, we won't know for sure until June 2nd.

The latter hint is intriguing because it implies that the crossover will be a modified version of an existing vehicle. While nothing is official, it might be the Corolla Cross, which was recently photographed in the United States undergoing testing and some have claimed it could be available in the United States.
